Overlay Insulation Panels for Underfloor Heating

Our range of overlay insulation panels provides efficient, low-profile solutions for both renovations and new builds. Panels are designed to float directly over an existing floor or to fit between joists, creating a strong, thermally efficient base for your chosen floor finish.

Boards for Wood & Laminate Floors

• Routed & Foil-Faced Insulation Boards (18–60mm) – Standard panels designed for floating wood and laminate floors directly over the heating system.
• ThermRite Pro Boards (16 & 20mm) – Premium overlay boards with 400kPa compressive strength and 200-micron foil. These allow interlocking wood/laminate to be laid directly on top, but can also be tiled or screeded for carpet and vinyl.

Between Joist Panels

• 2-Groove Panels – Two pipe runs between each joist, a practical and efficient solution.
• 3-Groove High-Output Panels – For projects requiring higher heat output, with three pipe runs between each joist space.

Boards for Tiled Floors

• 18 & 25mm Non-Foiled Grooved Insulation Boards – A cost-effective, high-output option for tiling.
• ThermRite Pro 16 & 20mm Boards – High-strength boards that can be tiled or self-level screeded for carpet or vinyl finishes.
• ProTile 20mm Cement-Faced Tile Backer Board – A robust solution designed for heavy traffic areas, offering direct tiling capability.

Pipe Sizing

All 16 & 18mm boards are designed for 12mm pipe, while 20mm boards and above are designed for 16mm pipe, ensuring optimum performance and flow rates.

Complete Systems

Alongside individual panels, we also supply complete overlay underfloor heating systems that include the insulation boards plus all required components such as pipework, manifolds, pumps and thermostats.
