Measuring Up
You will require approximately 1.8 Kgs. of product to give a 1mm depth for every square metre of floor.
So:
To cover the cable/mat – you will need 4mm coverage of adhesive or leveling compound.
Example for a 10 m2 tiled area: 10 x 4 x 1.8 = 72 kgs.
Total bags adhesive = 4 x 20 kgs.
Or Total bags of leveling compound = 3 x 25 kgs.
To bond the tiles – you will need a minimum 1.5mm bed of adhesive to bond the tiles.
Example for a 10 m2 tiled area: 10 x 1.5 x 1.8 = 27 kgs.
Total bags adhesive = 2 x 20 kgs.
To bond the Insulation boards – you will need a minimum 1.5mm bed of adhesive for bonding down the Insulation boards to the sub-floor.
Example for a 10 m2 tiled area: 10 x 1.5 x 1.8 = 27 kgs.
