Description
This system is a bespoke system designed to fit into your specific room. We supply the heating elements ready to simply roll out and fit between your walls, with sufficient cable to reach back to your thermostat location. Once you have placed your order you will receive an email requesting a floor sketch detailing all relevant dimensions, including preferred thermostat location.
Alternatively you can immediately forward forward your sketch by email to info@tfhw.co.uk
What if i do not have measurements ?
We can supply your system as an off the shelf element system Ecofilm Pro Kit using the same products as you have ordered, but instead of being pre-cut to length, the heating element will be on 1 longer roll for you to cut and install on site. This system is very diverse, easy to install and we do not therefore need to know room dimensions and shape.
What if i do not know the thermostat location ?
We will supply elements with 5.0m long cables which can then be cut back to suit the thermostat location.
KIT INCLUDES:
- Lengths of Ecofilm element
- 6 mm Depron insulation
- Polyester Vapour Barrier
- Adhesive fixing tape
- Commoning Blocks
- Comprehensive installation manual
- Lifetime Manufacturers Guarantee
Ecofilm is the ideal way to heat solid timber, engineered boards and laminate floors. It is used extensively to heat homes across Scandinavia. The ultra thin – approximately 0.3mm – but tough carbon based heating film can be installed directly under wood or laminate floors, on a layer of 6mm Depron insulation (supplied as part of the kit) to provide quicker heat up times and elevate the need for an underlay.
The standard system has an output of 130 watts/m2 which is adequate to supply optimum heating to most rooms.
For conservatories and any other areas of high heat loss, we can supply this increased output system of 160 watts/m2.
Extra insulation for conservatory installations. In order to maximise the efficiency of the system within conservatories and areas of high heat loss, and if floor heights allow, the use of a double layer of 6mm insulation will increase overall efficiency and decrease heat up times..
This extra insulation can be selected from our Ecofilm Components page.
