Which Grooved Insulation Overlay Kit Do I Need?
We supply three types of routed insulation overlay underfloor heating kits, each designed for different floor finishes and installation needs:
- 16mm Kits (ThermRite Pro Boards) – These high-density boards can be tiled directly onto, or finished with a self-levelling screed for carpet and luxury vinyl floors. A versatile solution for many renovation projects.
- 20mm Kits – Offering the same ThermRite Pro board as the 16mm system, but at a thicker profile. Ideal where additional insulation depth is preferred while maintaining flexibility for multiple floor finishes.
- 18mm Kits – Specifically designed for wood and laminate floors. These boards allow flooring to be laid directly on top, making installation simple and effective for timber finishes.
