Which Grooved Insulation Underfloor Heating Kit Do I Need?
The key benefit of the ThermRite PRO board is its versatility – it offers high output, excellent compressive strength, and can be tiled directly onto as well as finished with most other floor coverings. We provide three complete kit options to suit different pipe sizes and flooring types:
- 16mm ThermRite PRO Kits (12mm pipe) – Slim profile with excellent strength, designed for 12mm pipe. Ideal for tiled areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, as well as carpet, vinyl or other common floor finishes.
- 20mm ThermRite PRO Kits (16mm pipe) – Slightly thicker boards for use with 16mm pipe, providing even greater performance. Suitable where floor build-up allows and maximum efficiency is required, while still accepting tiles and most finishes.
- 18mm Kits for Wood & Laminate – Specifically for floating timber and laminate floors. Flooring can be laid directly over the boards, making this the simplest solution for living areas finished in wood.
