Floating Floor Insulation Panel -- 8 Grooves at 150mm centres

THE LOW DEPTH SOLUTION FOR INSTALLATION OF A WATER SYSTEM ONTO AN EXISTING FLOOR

A polythene vapour barrier is laid on top of the concrete slab or wood floor and the panels are then laid across the whole area. Our 16mm Pex-Al-Pex pipes are then laid into the grooves and the floor finish, tongued & grooved chipboard or wood strip flooring, minimum 18mm for standard domestic applications and 25mm for commercial applications, is then laid directly over the panels, leaving a small expansion gap around the perimeter of the room. In areas of heavy traffic, timber supports can be placed directly beneath the floor joints.

The hi-tec foil layer ensures maximum even heat distribution across the entire floor surface, and due to the fact that the pipe is directly below your finished floor, the warm up time is drastically reduced compared to screed systems.
