Information
Ultra ProFlex SP is a single part, rapid set, polymer modified, cementitious wall and floor tile adhesive. Specially formulated to achieve enhanced adhesion and flexibility, it is ideal for areas where slight movement or vibration can occur. Suitable for heavily trafficked areas. Ideal for applications where movement and vibration is likely, such as over-boarded wooden floors and floors with under floor heating.
The adhesive’s unique qualities make it suitable for use with Porcelain, Ceramic, Natural Stone, Mosaic Wall and Floor tiles to most common building substrates, including concrete/sand render, screeds, brick and block work, heated sub floors, existing tiled surfaces and screwed and fixed over boarded wooden floors. Ultra ProFlex SP is perfect for both interior, exterior, wet and dry conditions, making it ideal for communal showers and swimming pools. It will take light foot traffic within 3 hours of application dependent upon temperature and substrate.

| | | Surface Preparation
The tiling surface must be clean, firm, dry, free of dust, dirt, oil and grease, and be strong enough to support the weight of the adhesive and tiles being fixed. When tiling onto timber flooring ensure that the boards are dry (i.e. conditioned to the environment in which they will be used), rigidly fixed, ventilated beneath and free from barriers to adhesion. All plywood and flooring grade chipboard should have backs and edges sealed to prevent ingress of moisture and atmospheric humidity; the face to be tiled should be sealed with a suitable primer and left to dry prior to fixing. Boards should be 18mm thick and screwed down to the joists at 300mm centres or less. In all cases, the timber surface to be tiled should be adequately stable, strong and suitably rigid, enough to withstand the loads without deflection. |

Useful Tip: Mixing with a mechanical mixer and paddle will improve the mixing process and produce a more creamy texture and workable material.
